These two ladies with an amazing talent became a national sensation.

They had us in stitches and taught us in the way of womanhood like we never expected!

Two very different women have collaborated to create best-selling books under the name of Cate Kendall.

Writing team Lisa Blundell and Michelle Hamer first met as private school mums over a latte in mid 2005.

Lisa began her career in advertising as a copywriter. Michelle is a journalist and author and has worked as an editor at The Age newspaper. Both are mums and each have four children.

With designers labels and girly giggles on the mind, they have become a force to be reckoned with in the Australian writing scene.

This was a brilliant start to the day with their tales of families, female wisdom and designer diaries.
