Carmen Duncan
International Actor & Woman of Substance

Renowned Australian actor and woman of substance Carmen Duncan flew into Queensland to join us for this exclusive morning.

Carmen Duncan is known to Australian audiences as a film and television character actress. Her roles in such hits as Hunter, soap opera Number 96, Certain Women and the top rating show A Country Practice have made Carmen a household name.

She also spent part of her career working in the United States acting on television in such high-rating shows as Another World.

After leaving the Another World role in the mid-1990s, Duncan returned to Australia, where she acted in guest roles on television series and lampooned her former soap opera image on television commercials and in 2003, she appeared in CrashBurn.

In 2000 Duncan was diagnosed and successfully treated for early stage breast cancer.

Her younger sister is actor Paula Duncan, and while Carmen resides in Sydney, is a mother of two and grandmother of one, she dedicates much of her time to supporting deserving causes and charities including SIDS and Kids.

We were thrilled to hear this amazing story of one woman’s life.
