We had a special morning with Australia’s writing sensation - Kate Morton. Her books have been published in 37 countries around the world and they have been bestsellers in Australia, the UK, the US and many European countries. In the UK, Kate Morton is one of the top five authors borrowed from libraries.

Her first novel, The Shifting Fog has sold almost 1 million copies in the UK where it was a Sunday Times #1 bestseller in 2007. In 2008 it was nominated for Most Popular Book at the British Book Awards and became a New York Times bestseller.

In Australia it has sold over 70,000 copies and was General Fiction Book of the Year at the 2007 Australian Book Industry Awards.

Her second book, The Forgotten Garden, was a #1 bestseller in Australia where it has sold nearly 90,000 copies and was highly awarded.

It became a Sunday Times #1 bestseller in the UK and again a New York Times bestseller.

Now Kate is back to unveil her new blockbuster novel, The Distant Hours which is set to be yet another best seller.
